X-ray sources can be stored, but it is not recommended to store them for a long time, because this may cause the performance of some X-ray tubes to deteriorate or fail to meet their working requirements. To ensure the stability and performance of the product, the stored X-ray source is aged every 3 months, and the equipment is kept in the best working condition by running it for a short time to avoid performance degradation. Ensure that the equipment is stored in a dry, clean and temperature-appropriate environment to avoid the influence of moisture, high temperature or dust on the equipment.

When the X-ray source is used for the first time or has not been used for a long time, in order to use the X-ray generator stably, aging treatment is required. When it is turned on for the first time, it starts to run from low voltage and low current parameters to ensure that the equipment gradually enters the working state under mild conditions. The voltage and current need to be gradually increased according to the set steps and time intervals until they reach the normal operating range. The aging time should be adjusted according to the length of time the equipment has been stopped. Strictly follow the provisions on aging treatment in the equipment manual and record the parameters and time of each operation. This not only protects the equipment, but also ensures its long-term stable and efficient operation.

In order to obtain the maximum performance and reliability of the X-ray source, it is very important to keep the operating temperature of the X-ray source within the recommended parameter range. Hvonik X-ray sources are designed to operate at an ambient temperature of: -10℃ to 40℃. The cooling methods are mainly transformer oil medium, external circulation, forced air cooling. When the oil tank temperature exceeds 60±3℃, the high voltage output is turned off. In some applications, an external cooling fan may be required to reduce the oil temperature to 45±5℃ before the system can clear the fault and work again. For specific parameters, please refer to the product manual.

No, the X-ray tube is a consumable and cannot be used permanently. Its life is affected by many factors, including but not limited to the following: reasonable adjustment, cooling system performance, X-ray use time and X-ray tube quality. When using, pay attention to regular maintenance, avoid frequent startup and shutdown, and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Although the X-ray tube cannot be used permanently, through reasonable operation and maintenance, its service life can be maximized, while ensuring the stability and reliability of the equipment performance.

Equipment surface cleaning: Clean the surface of the equipment regularly to prevent dust and grease accumulation and keep the vents unobstructed. Cooling system: For equipment with an integrated cooling system, check the cooling fan and heat exchanger, remove dust and dirt, ensure there are no debris or obstacles, and check whether the hose is damaged. Check whether there are oil stains on the outer surface of the equipment and the X-ray outlet. If oil stains are found, contact technical support in time, and the equipment may need to be sent back for repair. Regularly test the safety functions and ray output of the equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Through regular maintenance, the equipment can continue to maintain good performance, ensure the safety and accuracy of food testing, and reduce the risk of downtime caused by failures.

The current and voltage of the device must be strictly set within the operating range specified in the device specifications.
